Hi to all. These are some pics of my HT GTS. I have owned it for about 4 and half years. It is one of the earliest HT Monaro GTS built in Melbourne.

Danny tells us, "I brought the car from a friend who spent the money on restoring it, but it was done around 15 to 16 years ago. Dave built the car to as original as he could do with the money at the time, apart from the mags and the exhaust its all stock.

A friend of mine who drags cars and has rebuilt motors all of his life gave me some ideas just to freshen the donk a little, which I did a little while ago when I pulled the motor out to paint the engine bay and motor, but its only bolt on and bolt off stuff and I have all the original bits to go back into it if and when I ever decide to sell the old girl.

I reckon its up to the XW GT Phase 11 spec now, the way it should have been when they raced, But thats all History now Ha Ha...

There is a bit of history with the old Monaro back in the 80s. She was in a Magazine named Performance Street Car and the GTS was on the front page with a line up of other Muscle cars for a Muscle car shoot out. Then the owner of the GTS sold the car to the Magazine to be given away as a prize. I have spoke to the owners of that time and have identified it by the numbers. I think that is special anyway. Just a little bit of history, but I will be trying to find more to go back to the start because of the very early body build."
