Shane sends photos of his original unmolested 1973 XA Falcon Superbird Coupe bought in Sydney in mid 2007. Shane tells us that he drove it back home to Brisbane where it now lives a very sheltered life.

It is a matching numbers car with everything original including engine, interior and paintwork (with the odd touch up here and there). The car has only done 93000 miles in its lifetime.

I have always had an affinity with XA Falcons. My first car was a cosmic blue XA sedan back in the late 70s. It was my lifelong dream to own an XA Coupe (and a Superbird in particular). It took me half a lifetime to realise my dream. Now that it is a reality, the car will never leave my sight.
