It has taken Ian 3 years and big bucks to rebuild “2 TOUGH” into an awesome show quality SLR5000 A9X styled Torana, which not only looks amazing, has incredible acceleration, handling and braking, but is fully street legal and driveable.

Ian says that, "The A9X theme has been retained, and all of 2 TOUGH's old school mechanicals have been replaced with modern motorsport technologies. An EMS sequential motorsport computer (with 2 maps - street and track) controls all aspects of the specially imported Hilborn electronic fuel injected Chev V8. A Crane roller cam, Trickflow alloy heads and custom tuned length exhaust combine to make 400kW of dyno tuned power.

This huge grunt is passed through to the Detroit TrueTrak 9" diff with superior axles via a 5 speed Tremec gearbox. Wheels are Cragar Supersport with Bridgestone street legal race rubber. 17” rims were needed to fit over the massive 230mm DBA vented and slotted disks with Brembo 4 spot calipers.

Interior is pure A9X with custom Recaro seats and Autometer gauges. Suspension is fully adjustable, custom built by K-Mac and controlled by Koni shocks.

Body is in show winning 2 pack GMH Sting Red with Brilliant Black. The engine bay is of similar show stunning quality, and 2 TOUGH has the trophies to prove it. Featured in July 2005 edition of Street Machine magazine, 2 TOUGH has been recently engineered and is registered and fully street legal in NSW.
