John wasn't happy with the car when he purchased it so he did a complete strip down and re-built of the car. He's happy with it now.

According to John, "The car was sold new in 1985 by Patterson Cheneys Ringwood. It has only done 71,000 genuine kilometers. I wasn't happy with the car when I purchased it so I did a complete strip down and re-built of the car. The restoration is in acrylic and is done to the exact HDT specifications.

I had the whole body stripped down to bare metal on a spit and had it all repainted inside out. I also re-built the engine to its exact specification. I have had every rubber and trim replaced on this car. The car is better than brand new. It is my toy and I will never sell it unless I got the right money even then I am very reluctant because I would never ever be able to replace it."

Where ever I go I get the thumbs up, Go Brocky, The Blueys are the ultimate Brock Commodores and more people know about them. Its a good feeling when people praise the car. This is a real Aussie Muscle car and is only going to appreciate as the years go by. This is truly a gorgeous car."
