Having bought this Yellow Ochre XY GT in December 2000, Mick has undertaken a major restoration which is now almost complete.

After finding this car advertised in December 2000 Mick brought it home and decided to repaint the whole car. The boot was tared black, the engine bay was a little sad. So the big job started. It was on again off again and after some 5.5 years its ready for rego.

The car is back to its former glory - a 12/70 GT in yellow orche with black trim, 4 speed optioned with sports wheels and radio. It now has Globes, front and rear spoilers, passenger mirror, 780 holley, HO extractors vac tank and rear seat belts. The car was sold new at Byrne Ford Chermside Qld on 19/1/1971.

Mick says all the hard work was worthwhile and he can't wait to drive it.
