From New Zealand, Mike tells us that his pride is a genuine Bathurst XUI Torana thats not only 100% complete but is used for club events and has recenetly been made into a dedicated race car.

According to Mike, "I've owned this car since 1995 and its a 3 owner car. It's a 1973 Bathurst in Tangerine which is 100 % complete.[ with all tags and matching no's on all components.] It was one of the last cars to be built in Adelaide.

Over the time I've owned it I have used it for club events and recently made it into a dedicated race car. [ Built race motor , done the suspension & fitted rollcage].

The race motor is a Black bottom end with a flowed 12 port Yellaterra head which is good for 217hp at the wheels on a Dynapack hub mounted dyno. Any bits I didn't require in the car I've put in storage, but it still doesn't look too removed from a road car and still can be road registered."
