Tim's pride is a very rare silverfox XW GTHO Phase 2 that was originally ex-race car driver Lionel Ayers' tow car.

According to Tim, "I purchased the silver fox Phase 2 about 5 years ago. Originally owned by Lionel Ayers, who towed his race car with the XW. Reportedly Lionel clocked up 115 MPH towing the trailer one day. Lionel raced with Max Volkers in a Cortina at Bathurst in 1968 & finished 3rd in their class. Hoping to start on rebuilding the tired suspension & steering soon. If anyone knows who purchased this car from Reg Wright Motors in Redcliffe in 1974, I would love to hear from them. Cheers Tim."
