You don't often see a factory delete stripe GT nowadays but back in 1971 you can imagine there were some buyers who wanted the shake and rattle without all the show.

This vermillion fire XY GT is unrestored and was ordered delete stripes by a country taxi driver in Yass. The car has remained as it was ordered since 1971 and is a great example of what a delete stripe car should look like. Check out the unique chunky GT High performance badges on the front quarters. And the massive vermillion bonnet with the shaker protruding through.
