Now for sale is this absolutely gorgeous original Phoenician Yellow '64 1/2 Mustang Coupe running the matching numbers 225hp 289ci 4V A code motor. For sale from North Sydney, NSW.

This has got to be one of the sweetest Mustangs we have seen for quite some time. Running the matching numbers 289 4V V8, the Mustang is presented in mostly original condition except for a repaint in the original Phoenician Yellow paint, a professional conversion from LHD to RHD undertaken in 1999 and a gearbox conversion from 4 speed manual to C4 automatic. A full engineers report is supplied and covers all works completed.

A San Jose, California built car the Mustang was imported to Australia in 1997 from California. Repainted in the USA prior to importation, the Mustang is still in stunning condition to this day. Mechanically the original engine is in perfect condition and is fitted with a Holley carby with extractors through to the delightful dual exhaust system. The car has been meticulously maintained by the owners father who is a retired mechanic.

The Mustang is equipped with power front disc brakes and dual exhaust pipes exiting through the rear valence.

The interior is mostly original featuring the factory black vinyl trim, original dash, door cards, steering wheel, instrumentation with an aftermarket tacho mounted onto the steering column and a t-bar shifter with lockout. The Mustang is fitted with the factory AM radio and a hidden modern stereo. All gauges have been serviced and work perfectly as does the horn. All chrome, glass and brightwork are in excellent condition.

The Mustang is riding on factory 14"steel rims with excellent 215/65R14 Maxxis radial tyres with the original Mustang hubcaps and a factory spare and tools in the boot.

The Coupe has been in the loving care of the current young lady owner since 2014. Her passion for the Mustang stems from her childhood growing up with a mechanic car enthusiast father. This passion has led her to pen a book of poems in a published work titled "Chrome". In addition to a lot of fond memories, the Mustang Coupe comes with a Certificate of Title, import paperwork and a receipt and photo file of the service parts and works undertaken. The Mustang comes with rare Air conditioning parts and a tow bar assembly.

Original early build Mustangs are amongst the most desirable of the first generation Mustangs and a genuine car in a hero colour makes for a highly collectible and classic Ford.
