1970 XW Falcon GS Replica -351 V8 Cleveland

Brand new bare metal restoration to a 1970 Diamond White Falcon 500 now a GS Tribute running a rebuilt 351 Cleveland, C4 Automatic and a Mustang 8 3/4" diff. The Falcon has covered 63 miles since the car was fully restored. For sale from Bunbury, WA.

Flawless paint and panel to a rust and damage free Falcon 500 with all original floors, sills, torque boxes, plenum and lower quarters. Finished in factory Diamond White 2 Pack with all new chrome and stainless.

Mechanically the car is running a rebuilt 351 2V Cleveland with a 650 Holley Vac Sec, Bosch electronic ignition, standard manifold with a 2 1/2" exhaust system. The C4 auto has been rebuilt to standard spec and the diff is an 8 3/4" sourced from a '67 Mustang with drum brake rear and 3.00:1 ratio. A new starter motor, alternator and distributor have been fitted and the Falcon runs twin thermo fans with digital controller and a trans cooler.

The Falcon has been treated to new suspension, reconditioned brakes with new brake lines, booster and master cylinder. The owner has also fitted new uni joints to the tail shaft.

The restoration included fitting new driving lights, head lights and new wiring loom. A full rubber kit has also been fitted.

On the inside the GS features a full black retrim in the correct GT style trim, a GS dash, console, rim blow GS steering wheel and an original style Superfringe radio. The owner has installed new winders, catchers and strikers plus new window felts to all four windows. The glass is all new as is the carpet, hood lining and reconditioned seatbelts. The heater is operational with a new heater core fitted.

The GS is fitted with a new 36 gallon fuel tank, front spoiler and bumper overriders and the Falcon has been inspected in WA and is ready to license.

The Falcon is riding on 14x7" widened 12 slots with chrome dress rims and centre caps with new Bridgestone 235/60R14 tyres all round.
