As previously displayed at the Gippsland Vehicle Collection - The Maffra Shed, this unrestored low mileage 1974 HQ Premier Station Wagon in Sunburst is without doubt one of the most spectacular examples of the HQ Holden Station Wagon still on the road today. For sale from Brisbane, QLD. On the 13th of February, 1974 Mr. Graham Dunstall of Swifts Creek, VIC wandered into The Big Garage in Bairnsdale, VIC and purchased a brand new Holden Premier Wagon. In stunning Sunburst Gold, this gleaming new Holden Station Wagon was fitted with the 202 cui six cylinder engine, combined with the standard 3 speed column shift manual transmission, power steering, front and rear bench seats with arm rests, an Air Chief radio, mud flaps, power tail gate, front disc brakes and 3.55:1 Banjo diff. The HQ was used sparingly by Mr. Dunstall racking up a mere 50,668 Kilometres before being donated by Mr. Dunstall to the the Gippsland Vehicle Collection. The current owner, a proud Holden collector himself, purchased the car from the collection and the car has now travelled a genuine 55,906 Klms from new and comes with the original log books, the original Victorian number plates, two sets of original keys and a new car brochure. A spectacular survivor, this HQ Premier Wagon is presented in phenomenal maintained condition. The original Sunburst paint is in exceptional condition with nil rust or damage and the glass and chrome work are in incredible condition. All glass is original except for the front windscreen. The Chestnut interior is in unmarked condition throughout with all working gauges, working Air Chief radio, perfect condition crash pad, door cards, hood lining, steering wheel and carpets. The ash trays and cigarette lighter have never been used. The engine bay features all original componentry, original stickers and markings with the original big nut brake master, glass fuel filter bowl, Bosch regulator, windshield washer reservoir, many original hoses and clamps and even some original factory parts stickers. Mechanically, the HQ has been maintained within an inch of its life with great care taken to keep the car in top mechanical condition. The boot area is in immaculate condition and features a spare tyre on the original steel rim and factory tools. The owner currently has the Premier riding on a set of four GTS rims. However, the car can come with a full set of 5 original steel rims with hub caps, dress rims and new tyres. This is a One-off survivor, and arguably the best surviving HQ Premier Wagon in the country. The HQ comes with the original Victoria number plates LSK-660 plus a matching Queensland set for a QLD buyer. The car is located in Brisbane, QLD for your private inspection. (Ref: 6217) If you wish we will gladly arrange a video tour/inspection of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door enclosed transport anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
