Now for sale a stunning super rare 1979 VB SL/E Commodore 310 pack with 5 litre V8 and TH400 auto combo. Located in Perth, WA.

Time warp survivor VB SL/E Commodore 310 pack in Mirage Blue with Light Blue velour trim running the ultra sort after factory L31 5 litre V8 engine, Turbo 400 automatic and Salisbury LSD rear.

This genuine unmolested beauty has travelled a mere 68,179 km from new and comes with original Log Books, owners manuals and even the dealer pre-delivery check list. We believe this is 1 of only 60 SL/E 310 packs built by Holden with the TH400 transmission making this a super rare offering.

Originally sold through Youngs Holden of Victoria Park, Perth, the car still features the original issue number plates and dealer sticker on the rear window. The car has had three owners from new, the first owner from 1979 until 2003 with the last two owners being Commodore enthusiast/collector.

The paint was faded when purchased by the current owner who arranged a high quality closed door repaint of the car in 2021 to a completely rust free car. The original badges are being re-chromed at the moment and will be supplied with the car. The chrome is original and in excellent condition. The owner will provide receipts for all work carried out.

The glass including the front windscreen is all original and in perfect condition. The interior is in exceptional condition and all original from the carpets, door cards, seats and hood lining. Everything works from the gauges, ice cold A/C (new compressor), original AM/FM cassette player, electric aerial, heater, central locking etc.

The engine is all original and maintained. The valves and stem seals have been changed to suit unleaded fuels. The car runs like a dream and features the original exhaust headers, original exhaust and dealer fitted stainless mufflers with original twin pipe exhaust out the back.

In the boot is the original boot carpet, original Uniroyal spare on the factory 15" alloy rim and all the tools in the original tool bag. The underside of the car features all the original factory markings, LSD diff tag plus the original Holden supplied mud flaps front and rear. Riding on new Kumho tyres on the factory alloy rims.

The only way to describe this car is gorgeous. No doubt about this one. It ticks all the boxes. Low mileage, documented and unmolested.
