With the VS model, HSV introduced the HSV Grange to their performance line up. The HSV Grange represented the ultimate luxury expression of Aussie-built, big-engined, rear-wheel-drive full sized cars.
Built off the top-specification Holden Caprice, the VS II Grange offered improvements to performance via the last of the tweaked Aussie built LB9 5 Litre V8 engines in either 185kW or 215kW output, a recalibrated 4 speed automatic gearbox, modified power steering and MacPherson strut front suspension and independent rear suspension, 17" alloy wheels, 10 speak CD stacker, climate control A/C, power sunroof and an uniquely numbered bottle of Penfolds Grange Hermitage wine (valued at $600 at the time) in the boot!.
For sale is an absolutely stunning example of the first of the HSV Uber luxury big blasters. Build number 35 is finished in all original Silver Mink paint with luxurious Slate Grey leather trim. The car was originally delivered in November 1996 through Penfold Holden, Burwood, Vic. and comes with all delivery paperwork, log books, owners manuals and two sets of keys. The Grange has covered a genuine 145,579 kilometres from new and has been beautifully maintained and still drives and smells as new.
The car has near brand new tyres, has recently been serviced, has no oil leaks and can be cruised in total Airconditioned comfort.
