Thanks to the success of the XC Falcon Hardtops at the 1977 Bathurst 1000 race and Edsel Ford II marketing ingenuity, 1978 saw the release of a limited-edition of 400 Cobra XC's with the iconic White with Blue Stripes. Thirty years later, to celebrate the Falcon's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place domination of the 2007 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, FPV quite fittingly released 400 limited edition BFII R Spec Falcon GT Cobras.

For sale is Build No. 239 of the 400 limited edition GT Cobras built.

With only 10,894 klms from new, this stunning FPV BFII Falcon GT Cobra features the factory Boss 302kW 5.4L quad cam V8, 6 speed manual, Brembo Brakes and R-Spec suspension. Build No. 239 is presented in absolutely impeccable condition throughout. Even the underside of the car still presents as new with all factory markings still in place.

Build No. 239 is a ONE OWNER car, purchased from Darryl Twitt Motors in Shepparton, Vic on 10/12/2007. The car has never been driven in the rain, has always been garaged, still has the original tyres and has been regularly serviced.

The GT Cobra comes with all FPV documentation including the FPV Compendium, log books and owners manuals, FPV authenticity certificate original sales invoice, 2 sets of keys with Cobra Key rings plus the Cobra GT new car brochure.

The GT still features the unused spare tyre and immaculate boot. The GT Cobra attended a Meguiar's car show and coincidentally the car received the entrant number to match the build number and this sticker appears in the engine bay.

This is definitely a premium quality collector car and like it's XC Falcon Cobra cousin, has become a true GT legend.

Victorian registration WDA 365 (the number plates the car came with) and the car is registered until 15th December, 2023.
