We've come a long way on the power curve from HSV's iconic VN SS Group A Commodore which produced a then-impressive 215kW of power. For 2016, HSV's range topping GTS ran the legendary LSA supercharged, 6.2-litre V8 producing 430Kw or exactly double the power of the VN Group A. Modified by race engine specialist Autotech Engineering in Sydney's West, GTS #894 is now a home grown supercar capable of delivering a whopping 445rwKW and over 950nm of torque! Over $16,000 was spent on modifications to the factory supercharged 6.2 Litre V8 including the fitment of 1100cc high flow injectors, a 3" cat back exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers and cats, a pulley upgrade and an ECU recalibration.

Originally sold through Motorama City Holden in Moorooka, QLD, HSV GTS #894 has covered a genuine 49,235 Kilometres and is presented in the factory colour of Sting Red and is in as new condition throughout. Equipped with the 6 speed automatic transmission, the GTS comes with all HSV documentation including log books and owners manuals, Autotech receipts for the power upgrade and two sets of keys.

Braking is via HSV's 390mm front and 372mm rear two-piece, cross-drilled brake rotors that are paired with six-piston calipers – painted in yellow. And the HSV magnetic ride control system for the suspension, and an intelligent torque-vectoring system helps reduce understeer when punting the 1,841kg GTS through the bends.

The GTS is riding on unmarked 20" HSV alloy wheels shod in excellent 255x35ZR20 on the front and 275/35ZR20.

Sadly, one of the last great Aussie road cars, the GTS encapsulates the spirit of Australian car culture. Big, comfortable, unapologetic with loud, brutal performance that will leave you Thunderstruck.
