1965 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD (SOLD)

Unrestored timewarp survivor. One family owned Springtime yellow 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 with LTD pack. Factory big block 352, Cruisomatic auto and 9". Current owner bought it from the son who was 70 who inherited car from his father. Dry stored since mid 70s and not driven since. Rego paid up till 1980 and the rego sticker is still on windscreen. Owner has gone right through this car mechanically including flushing of all fluids, new hoses and belts, carby reco, full tune up, mandrel bent factory type exhaust replacement, collector assembly, new shock absorbers, new white walls, new wheel cylinders with 80% factory riveted shoe linings left. Mostly original paint, totally mint original unrestored interior including carpet etc. Paint work is excellent. Nil oil leaks ever from front to rear. Drives as new and does not feel like a big car to drive. Air conditioning works well, needs correct size belt. Very rare LTD option which are nearly impossible to find in a fastback or even sedan for that matter. South eastern suburb of Melbourne, VIC car. (Ref. 4629)
