1977 Holden LX Torana A9X - Jasmine Yellow

Rare and highly collectable UNRESTORED 1977 LX Torana SL/R 5000 A9X in Jasmine Yellow with Slate Black trim with only 57,451 Kilometres from new! For sale from Perth, WA.

A9X build number 174 of the 405 produced is one of the much desired 2nd production run featuring the wider flares and 3:08 diff and is one of 39 Jasmine Yellow sedans built.

Originally sold through Leach Motors, Southside Brisbane, QLD the A9X is supplied with full ownership history with documentation. The car comes with both a Holden Historical Services verification letter and a GMH authenticity letter plus an ICAARS Inspection Report and the A9X shows a genuine 57,451 kilometres from new.

This is an accident free example of the A9X. The car was repainted on the outside and in the engine bay in 1990 and the original matching numbers engine was freshened at the same time. The engine still features a fully rebuilt Rochester 4bbl carburettor and intake manifold, now with extractors and 2" dual exhaust system. The M21 4 speed manual gearbox and Salisbury diff are also original and in excellent condition.

There are receipts for the mechanical rebuild that come with the car. This is a very correct and original car with all engine bay stickers and the brake cooling ducts still in place.

The interior is all original in Slate Black with a slight crack in the driver's seat. The carpet is original, all gauges work and the dash fascia, radio and steering wheel are original. The A9X is fitted with standard GTS rims with Olympic Sprinter 205/70R14 tyres all round. All the chrome and glass is original.

The current custodian has recently rebuilt the brakes, carby, diff and gearbox with receipts included.

This is definitely the pinnacle of Holden performance, representing the birth of HDT and later HSV. It is a car solidly etched into our motor racing history. A rich history of Brock and Firth, Richards, Harvey, Grice, Morris, Perkins ... the names synonymous with victory spelt simply in the name - Torana.

These cars are legendary on and off the race track and a sure fire investment in solid gold Holden muscle.
