For sale is an One-Off 1971 XY Falcon 500 in factory Wild Violet with Tu-tone saddle trim and running the all matching numbers 250 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed Top Loader gearbox. Optioned with the factory GOLDE wind back SUNROOF, bucket seats, sports console, superfringe push button radio, carpets, dual sports mirrors with right hand side remote and full wheel covers and supplied with the original LOG BOOKS, this is certainly one of the nicest Falcons we have had the pleasure to market. Talk about a true blue survivor Falcon. On the 12th January, 1972, Mr. K.G Miles of Bendigo, Victoria picked up his brand new XY Falcon 500 from Col Paige Ford, in Cooper Street, Footscray. A December 1971 built car, Mr. Miles had ordered a very unique Falcon and luckily it has survived in the original delivered condition except for a professional repaint in the factory colour and a retrim to the front and rear seats. 

This is a damage and rust FREE Falcon in exceptional maintained condition with only 77,139 miles on the clock, Log Books and a Ford verification letter to confirm everything about this special Falcon. This Falcon will definitely impress. In fact the paint absolutely gleams as does all the original chrome, stainless and glass. You'll notice that even the original dealer sticker is still affixed to the rear window. And the Falcon still features the original hood lining, carpets, crash pad, dash, gauges and immaculate steering wheel. Due to the optional GOLDE SUNROOF, the XY is fitted with Fairmont C pillar interior lighting and the exterior is enhanced with the factory fitted Fairmont chrome wheel arch and sill molds. 

Slide behind the wheel, wind back that awesome factory GOLDE Sunroof, turn over the smooth as silk 250 6, slot the Top Loader into first and drive your cares away. This really is a time machine experience one that few experience as so many XY Falcons of this caliber have been converted to GT Replicas leaving very few standard Falcons especially heavily optioned examples left on the road these days. 

The engine bay presents in excellent condition featuring the matching numbers engine, original air cleaner assembly, orange painted head, extractors, Motorcraft carburettor, correct battery clamps, horn and the never removed compliance plate. The Falcon has just been fully serviced with new plugs, filters and oils plus a fully reconditioned braking system. The Falcon runs and drives beautifully and is an absolutely reliable driver.

The Falcon is fitted with the factory 14" steel rims painted as per factory in Wild Violet to match the body colour and the immaculate optional Full Wheel Covers are still in their place. The Falcon is fitted with as new 205/70R14 red walled Kenda Radial tyres all round. 

Open the boot and you will find a new rubber boot mat, spare tyre and factory tools.

The Falcon comes with over 50 years of wonderful memories of great motoring, the original owners log books and manuals, a Ford letter of verification, a set of original keys and a Wild Violet sign board to display at car shows. 

One of the very last of the XY Falcon model built, this One of one Wild Violet Falcon 500 is a true piece of Australian motoring history. Any inspection is guaranteed to impress.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
