1971 XY Falcon GTHO Phase 3 Replica - GOLDE SUNROOF

$SOLD

There's no two ways about it. This is a bloody nice XY GT-HO Phase 3 Replica. Built from a Yellow Ochre XY factory manual six cylinder, the owner of over 20 years has built a really nice car with lots of genuine GT parts. You get the impression straight away that this is the real deal. From the shaker sitting proud of the bonnet like a genuine Phase 3 to the "FACTRY" custom NSW number plates, this car really appeals.

Running a tough 500HP+ 408 stroker 4V Cleveland built by AN Racing, a Hurst Indy shifter 4 speed Top Loader with reverse shift pattern and 9" diff with 3.25 gears. Just moving it around the showroom you can feel the power in this solid roller engine. And the exhaust note compliments the solid lifter noise from up front. The engine bay looks stock GT-HO with 4V heads, HO vacuum tank, 750 DP Holley carby, Yellow top coil, Pacemaker extractors and even a retro looking Autolite battery. Everything has been reconditioned from the wiper motor, brake booster to the radiator. There is a quality stainless exhaust and even a HO rear sway bar.

The paint is in excellent condition for its age with only minor blemishes. And to top it off this GT-HO Replica, features a factory GOLDE wind back sunroof. Go on, you'll want to wind it back and enjoy the breeze through the roof and the burble from the exhaust. And of course there is a Superfringe push button radio with a hidden Pioneer CD player with 6 stacker in the boot.

The GT-HO Replica rides on 15" Bathurst Globes with excellent red wall tyres, new suspension with 6 leaf rear HO leaf spring set up and a 5 Slot spare in the boot with a 36 gallon fuel tank, spare wheel tie down and tool bag. The owner has thought of everything including recalibrating the gauges to suite the diff ratio, a repro 1971 rego sticker on the front windscreen, bumper over riders and the front HO bib spoiler. There is even a signature of Bathurst legend Allan Moffat on the glove box.

This really is one of the nicest XY Replicas we have seen in a while. Not only does it look good but it has a great feel to it as well.
