1972 XA GT Falcon ... (SOLD)

Shut up and take my money! We can't be sure if Liberace or perhaps Dolly Parton owned this beauty but it must have been someone with a big personality. Big tag, Wild Violet, White trim, wind-back sunroof, air conditioning, radio/tape player, power steering, power windows, vinyl roof and T-Bar FMX auto. Does it get any better? We think NOT!

This 1972 XA GT ticks all the boxes. Literally. Every option was factory fitted to this special one off built dream machine. In stunning condition, the GT presents in perfect condition and is a stand out jaw dropping crowd pleaser. Delivered new through Carl Robertson Ford, Southport, Queensland, this GT screams look at me, and is one of only 101 with this particular paint and trim combination and 1 of 1 with paint, trim and optional extras combo.

All matching numbers this XA GT was fully restored in 2012 with a full professional paint and body restoration and mechanical refresh. The power windows work perfectly, the air cond is freezing cold, and the car sits on correct small centre '72 Globes with cheeky raised lettering T/A radials. Showing 41,888 miles with correct 8,000 tacho the car has been lovingly maintained and the owner has recently reconditioned the FMX gearbox including the converter. The 9" has the correct 3 to 1 ratio and is perfectly silent. The owner has also recently installed a new hard to find larger A/C specific radiator.

Currently on club registration, the GT needs nothing for roadworthy. Ready to enjoy and turn heads, the car can be inspected in our Kingsgrove, Sydney showroom. And if you are unable to travel due to Covid restrictions, AMCS will gladly arrange a video inspection/road test of the car using WhatsApp, and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
