1974 Ford XB GS Fairmont Hardtop 351 V8 - Emerald Fire
Originally sold by Warrego Motors in Charleville/Quilpie far western Queensland, this XB GS Fairmont features a good solid body shell which has been well restored and presents in excellent condition throughout. Mechanically, the XB GS has recently had the FMX gearbox, brakes and radiator reconditioned and power steering fitted. The GS has covered only 2,569 miles since the restoration.
On the inside, the Fairmont features a full retrim with new black trim, door cards, hood lining and carpeting with the genuine dash, gauges, steering wheel and console still in their place. In the boot is a spare steel wheel, factory tools and boot carpet.
The GS is riding on Competition Alloy wheels in a period correct Jelly Bean style with 235/60x15s on the front and BF Goodrich 295/50R15s on the rear. There are also front and rear spoilers and an XA Superbird rear window louvre.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
