1975 XB Falcon 500
One Tasmanian owner from new SURVIVOR XB Falcon 500 in striking Tango Orange with Chamois trim. Genuine 143,191 klms from new with log books, service receipts, original selling dealer sales invoice and registration paperwork. Excellent original paint with some touch ups and a few little dings as the original airline pilot/mechanic owner has only stopped driving recently at 94 years of age. A credit to you sir.
The car has only ever been hand washed and polished every six months with Repco auto cream.The interior is all original day one with a few personal day two items fitted including, temp gauge, clock, rear sun venetian, engine immobiliser, mud flaps, tow bar and Astor AM radio/cassette player.
The XB runs the all matching numbers 4.1 L 6 cylinder 250 Cui engine and column automatic all serviced regularly. Working 2 kilometres from his work, the car has done minimal mileage although a couple of times a year it would go on holidays to Binalong Bay, on the East Coast of Tassy or on a lovely run down to Hobart. She's never been out of Tassy since sold new by GM Jackson in Launceston. A treasured family heirloom and for many years the only orange car in town, this XB Falcon survivor now needs a new home to be loved and regularly used. Original boot matt with spare and tools and Pyrene fire extinguisher as fitted by the original owner when new.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
