1977 XC Fairmont Coupe
Factory T code 1977 XC Fairmont Coupe built up as a historic race car but never raced. Current owner bought 10 years ago as a non running shed find. Fully rebuilt John White 500 hp race engine with less than 2,000 klms ago. Grout filled block, 2v heads cc'd and cleaned up. New stainless 1 piece Chev valves roller rockers and a big cam. Fully balanced and a new Exceedy pressure plate and clutch plate fitted. 4 speed top loader, lsd disc brake 9" with new clutches and inner and outer bearings fitted. A new QFT 750 double pumper, big Holley fuel pump. SAS seats and race belts fitted plus original cloth houndstooth seats. New semi slick 225/50/16 front on ROH 16x8 Chicanes and new rear 245/50/16 tyres on ROH 10x16 Chicanes. Brakes are huge 4 piston outlaw calipers with street and track pads. Rear are green stuff pads with std rebuilt XC calipers. Tramp bars and panhard rod fitted, new 700 lb King springs in front with roller perches and a Shelby drop. Also has rose joint lower arm with adjustable rose joint steering arms. A new recoed steering box just fitted with new ball joints and pitman arm. New 32 mm x 300 Wilwood slotted Disc rotors on alloy hats. Car was built over several years to do historic events. Gold Coast, QLD car. (Ref. 4589)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
