What an unique opportunity to own this truly special Falcon GT. Two fastidious owners from new - 25 years each. Originally purchased from E. Coxon & Son, Numurkah in Victoria (Original Dealer sticker is still on the rear window) and supplied through C.T.G. Smith Motors of Shepparton Vic, this GT was one of the four XR GTs featured in the now famous photo taken in front of C.T.G. Smith Motors when new (Thanks to Sales Manager at the time John Mann).

One of the first batch of XR GTs built. It is a long time since an original unrestored XR GT has been offered for sale. Full history including XR GT supplement and owner registration paper with 131,000 documented miles enjoyed in it's 50+ years. The GT shows great patina and was featured in a detailed story in Survivor Car Australia Magazine, issue no. 8. It also made it's one and only appearance at a Falcon GT Nationals at Bathurst in 2013 with the Judges using this car's originality to assist them in judging the other XR GTs.

Never fitted with a radio, it still retains its original keys, boot mat, original spare wheel and tyre from new. The XR GT is the only Falcon GT fitted with a 4 speed Hurst shifter from factory. It was the first V8 4 speed Australian car and a Bathurst Winner in 1967.

If you have been waiting for that special car to appear on the market, this is it! Please contact Mike Selby to arrange a private inspection of this special GT, located in country NSW. (Ref. 5060)
