1970 Boss Mustang 302 ... Genuine Survivor (SOLD)

Boss 302, True Survivor, 22,500 miles from new!! Unrestored Time-warp car in its original Medium Red paint with reflective Black stripes, and with comprehensive Owner history.

Originally purchased by the West Brothers of Illinois, then passed through several noted hands including renowned collector and restorer Bob Perkins of Wisconsin. Then on to Mark Jacob in CA. The current owner bought the car from Mark in 2011 as a personal import with further assistance from Bob Perkins. Resulting in the car having spent ALL of its life in careful Collector's hands.

Year one modifications include the rear wing and slats fitted by original owner. The car has only 22,500 original miles and is all date code correct and all matching numbers. Original battery leads, plug leads, radiator, hoses and radiator cap (worth around US$750 alone as only came out at factory not as dealer replacement). Has factory oil cooler due to the 4.30 ratio option 9 inch Detroit locker diff. Close ratio top loader option also. Original factory interior and carpets all in excellent condition.

Current owner has fitted a Scott Fuller Ford licensed reproduction exhaust system imported from USA. Comes with the original Goodyear raised letter tyres with mint tread pattern but not fitted as compound has gone hard. Original rear shocks supplied, not fitted.

Very rare to find a mostly untouched Survivor car like this today. One of two Boss 302 cars to receive the Mustang Car Club of America unrestored Gold award. Bob Perkins, the most well know Boss expert in the USA said in a 2008 article "This is one of the five top Boss 302 cars in the USA, it is a stunning car that should be a keeper".
