1971 Ford Falcon XY Futura ... (SOLD)

This one is hard to believe. With just an exterior repaint in the original Lime Light Metallic with Ultra White roof and Saddle trim, this Futura has survived over 50 years without being molested and turned into a GT Replica. All matching numbers 250 Cui 6 Cylinder 170Hp engine and 3 speed manual gearbox, this Futura comes with the original owners LOG BOOKS, manuals and even the original Queensland number plates.

Originally sold through Falconer Ford in Toowoomba, QLD and used as their Demo car, the car has had two subsequent owners and shows 64,587 miles on the clock. The interior is all original except for a re trim to the drivers seat but all door cards and rear seat are original as is the crash pad, dash and steering wheel. The current owner has upgraded the car with Fairmont courtesy lights on the C pillar, wind lacing and centre pillar vinyl covering. Everything in the car works perfectly including the original Superfringe radio and the previous owner has fitted gauges under the dash including Oil, Amp and Temp.

The car was resprayed in 2 Pack in 2017 with all floors, boot channels, sills and quarters in amazing rust and damage free condition. The engine bay presents in day one maintained condition with all factory stickers and markings still in place. Mechanically the car has been recently serviced with plugs, oils and all suspension rebuilt and the brakes are all in good order.

Riding on 14" steel rims with good genuine White Wall tyres and factory Futura hub caps. In the boot is a new boot matt, genuine tools in the factory bag and a spare wheel with good tyre. The car has the Falcon bonnet emblem, front mud flaps, boot release, aftermarket driving lights and rear venetian.
