1971 XY GT Falcon ... (SOLD)

Unrestored and unmolested 1971 Track Red XY GT with factory GOLDE SUNROOF! For sale is a stunning SURVIVOR XY GT Falcon with matching numbers 351 Cleveland, 3 speed FMX auto gearbox and 9" LSD.

The GT has been in the current owners care for over 30 years and is showing 46,600 miles on the clock. Running the stock standard matching numbers 351 4V D Block Cleveland engine maintained in factory spec, with original Autolite carby, shaker flap, heat riser tube, original bakerlite fan shroud and factory date correct horns.

The XY GT has had an external repaint with all original paint in the door jambs, boot and engine bay. The car retains all it's original FORD 'OK' quality control stampings in the boot and in the engine bay. While the interior of the GT is in excellent condition with some parting of the stitching on the driver's seat only. The passenger seat and rear seat are in perfect condition. The carpet is day one and the dash, crash pad, door cards and hoodlining are in excellent condition. All gauges and the Superfringe radio are in perfect working condition although the GOLDE SUNROOF will need new cables.

Riding on 5 x 5 slot rims, original tools and tool bag.

It is getting very hard to find unmolested GT Falcons that have not been pulled apart. You will not find a more solid and original unrestored GT than this one.
