1956 Buick Super Riviera Coupe ... (SOLD)

1956 Buick Super Riviera Two Door Coupe. Personal import fitted with original build plate. Running the original GM Buick Fireball V-8 322 cu in (5.3 L) V8 engine and automatic 2-speed gearbox. Original left-hand drive, solid two-tone paint, chrome bumpers and exterior highlights, scuff plates, side body moulds, bench front seat and standard factory wheels fitted with 225x75x15" tyres.

Featuring the four round VentiPorts per fender, with additional series script found on rear quarters and within the deck emblem, these Fisher bodied Buicks were readily identified by their more rounded contours, straight up windshield pillars and sedan rear quarter windows. Inside, a new Red Liner speedometer lay horizontally across the instrument panel. Interiors were trimmed in nylon/Cordaveen combinations and standard Super equipment included trip mileage indicator and electric clock and an optional "Selectronic" radio.

Dynaflow was now standard on all Supers, along with foam seat cushions, a trunk light, directional signals, front and rear armrests, sliding sunshades, cigarette lighter, glove compartment light, map light, dual horns, Step-On parking brake and trip mileage indicator.

This Buick Super is in exceptional condition for its age with only a minor scratch on right-hand front guard and minor blemishes to chromework and bumpers. Plus a few spider webs on the underside of the car.
