An absolute pride and joy of the current owner, this C Code Mustang Convertible 289 2V V8 has been showered with love and care and presents in concours show condition throughout. Originally a Californian car, it was imported to Australia in 2011 by the current owner and has covered a genuine 7,200 miles since the full nut and bolt restoration.  

Restored in Australia in striking BMW Estoril Blue with stunning White Pony trim and White electric soft top, the Mustang has been maintained regardless of cost and can be reliably daily driven or used as a show car. Once you get past the wow factor of the colour combination and slip behind the wheel you'll notice that this car has been treated to an extraordinary level of care in the restoration. 

The White Pony trim is in stunning condition and you have the comfort of integrated Air-conditioning, modern Rack and Pinion power steering, electric roof and a retro sound system to make your driving experience a true joy. The dash has been upgraded to full GT spec with GT cluster and console and the dash is complimented with real timber inserts that have been finished with 6 coats of high gloss lacquer.

Mechanically, the factory 289 2V V8 has been stroked to 302 cui and features a 4bbl Performer Edelbrock carby, Edelbrock headers, Shelby high capacity radiator with a highly chromed engine bay.  The Mustang is running the factory C-4 Cruise-O-Matic auto and the car has been fully serviced with all oils replaced.

The Mustang is fitted with custom integrated A/C vents, power steering, power front and rear disc brakes, grille-mounted original GT fog lights, GT badging, GT bonnet scoop, custom trumpet style dual exhaust pipes exiting through the rear valence and styled steel wheels with excellent B F Goodrich rubber. The Mustang also features a retro AM radio with Bluetooth, amp, sub woofer and twin speakers in the boot. All gauges work as does the horn. All chrome and brightwork is in excellent restored condition. The Mustang also comes with two sets of keys, a new car Mustang brochure and a receipt folder.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
