Now for sale is this gorgeous Tahoe Turquoise '66 Mustang GT Fastback. A superb example featuring a genuine A code 225hp 289ci 4V and C4 auto. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

This has got to be one of the sweetest Mustangs we have seen for quite some time. Running the matching numbers 289 4V V8 and factory C4 3 speed auto car. Genuine two owner car imported to Australia in 2017. And a super rare colour as Tahoe Turquoise accounted for only 3 percent of all Fastback Mustangs built and was only available in 1966.

Rotisserie restoration completed in the USA in 2007 and still in stunning condition to this day. Mechanically the original engine was rebuilt in 2007 with the engine bay left unrestored to maintain the originality of the car. The GT is running a Holley 600 carby, extractors and 2 1/4" Magnaflow stainless exhaust system. The original headers and original exhaust tips are supplied with the car wrapped in the boot. The car has been fully serviced with all oils replaced.

The interior is the full Pony trim, all original except for the carpet, and the car features the Rallye Pack instrument cluster of tacho and clock mounted onto the steering column. The car is also a 2+2 optioned car allowing for the rear seats to be folded flat. All gauges have been serviced and work perfectly as does the horn. The car also features the centre console and hazard warning lights located inside the glove box. All chrome and brightwork is in excellent condition.

All genuine GT package items are in place including front power disc brakes, dual exhaust with tips exiting through the rear valence (supplied not fitted), original driving lights in the grille, GT badges and rocker panel racing stripes inspired by GT40.

GT cars also came equipped with the Special Handling package, which included stiffer springs, heavy-duty shocks, a 13/16-inch sway bar, and a quicker steering box.

The boot is also fully detailed with new fuel tank, new fuel sender, new wiring, unused original factory spare and tool kit.

The car comes with a photo of the original owners who were reunited with their car when the second owner rotisserie restored the car in 2007. The GT also comes with a Certificate of Title, import paperwork and a receipt and photo file of the restoration works.

Fastback Mustangs are the most desirable of the early Mustangs and a genuine GT equipped car in a hero colour makes for a highly collectible car.

On NSW Historic registration. Nothing to spend just enjoy this superb GT Fastback. Certainly a pleasure to own and a real head turner.

Inspection by appointment in our Sydney Showroom. (Ref. 5954)
