A glorious example having arrived in Australia in 1993, and treated to an excellent mirror image RHD conversion. Owned previously by a fastidious Mustang enthusiast for 10 years and current owner just a year, the car presents in outstanding condition.
This is a rare 76B body car which is one of the few '67 convertibles made with the deluxe or 'luxury' interior, accounting for just 1% of total 1967 Mustang production.
Featuring a refurbished 289 C code with 2bbl carb, converted to electronic ignition with a mild hydraulic cam. Running through to the original 3 speed T-bar C4 Cruisomatic and 8 inch diff. Upgraded with a 2 inch dual exhaust with new stainless steel mufflers. Starts in a blink and runs super smooth with a mild quiet note.
This car features some excellent factory options including power roof, rare-for-convertible factory air conditioning, power steering and the front disc brake option.
The power roof has been refurbished with a new cover and two new hydraulic rams with new lines. The air conditioning has been upgraded with a late model Sanden compressor. The power steering has been upgraded with a late model Falcon pump and box. The factory front disc brakes features the original 4 spot Kelsey Hayes callipers, with the brake system upgraded also with a late model Falcon master cylinder and booster. The front end suspension and steering have all been overhauled and feel like new on the road.
The body is super straight with no evidence of any rust or repairs. The underside presents very nicely with excellent sills, torque boxes, floors and rails. The paint is very good with an older 2 pack respray in iconic Ford Candy Apple Red. All chrome parts are either new or have been re-chromed, and all stainless has been buffed to as-new condition. All new glass has been fitted.
The interior features an immaculate new Red Deluxe interior with centre console, a superb steering wheel, all new high quality carpets and seat belts. All new rubber kit throughout for the cabin including windows and doors, and bonnet and boot lid. Boot has a new boot matt and cover over the matching spare wheel.
Dash lights and instruments all working, with a typical ornamental Ford clock, and comes with a spare set of keys. Running an immaculate set of correct look 14 x 7" styled steel rally road wheels with new white wall tyres.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
