1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 383 V8
The first-generation Camaro hit its peak in 1969. Compared to the earlier 1967 and 1968 Camaros, there were more engine choices, sleeker styling and lots of ways to customise your Camaro with various exterior styling and trim packages. From GM's standpoint, the 1969 Camaro was "the next best thing to a 'Vette." It was as tough as a Chevy pickup truck, appealing to the younger hip generation but also to Marlboro men, suburban soccer mums and—with the 1969 Camaro SS, Z/28 and the legendary COPOs—to hardcore drag racers or road racers.
There were so many ways to option up a 1969 Camaro. And boy did the sales results reflect this success with 243,085 '69 Camaros rolling off the production lines from August, 1968 through November, 1969.
For sale is a stunning example of a 1969 Camaro SS built from a factory V8 Camaro and now presented in Rally Red with black stripes. The Camaro was bare metal restored around 2009 and still presents in amazing condition to this day.
Running a 383 small block crate motor dynoed at 425hp @5500rpm, the Camaro is fitted with a manualised Turbo 350 automatic gearbox and an easy cruise 10 bolt LSD rear. The SS is fitted with power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, Wishbone tubular control arms with adjustable gas shocks and 5 leaf rear springs. The SS is also fitted with extractors and a 3" cross over exhaust system.
The interior is in excellent condition retrimmed to factory specifications in black vinyl with working integrated Air Conditioning. The car has a brand new retro AM/FM radio, timber SS steering wheel and the signature Horse Shoe gear lever shifter.
The Camaro is riding on 17" American racing wheels with near new tyres. With the current owner for nearly 10 years and purchased from the importer owner. All import docs included. Full NSW registration expiring in May 2022.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
