For sale is Build No. 2 of Ford's famous Phase 2 GTHO Falcons. In stunning Grecian Gold with Black trim, this Phase 2 HO Falcon is for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

With specs including the 351 4V Cleveland, giant 750cfm Holley carburettor, twin ignition points, solid lifters, stronger conrods and near on 360hp running to the ground through the four-speed close ratio top-loader gearbox and a nine-inch Daytona diff, the Phase 2 GTHO Falcon was nothing if not a full on race car.

To qualify for racing CAMS required the manufacturer to build a minimum number of these cars to be sold to the public as road registered vehicles. As most were not bought by Mums and Dads to do the weekly shopping or to cart the family, most Phase 2s led a less than charmed existence.

Of course some have survived intact. Others, have had to be rescued from years of "enthusiastic driving". With perfect Phase 2s now selling for in excess of half a million dollars the opportunity to buy a slightly less perfect example at a substantial savings is quite tempting.

For sale is Build No. 2 of 287 Phase 2 GTHOs ever built. Sold new by Byrt Ford, Wollongong, NSW and specified in Grecian Gold with Black trim, this GTHO is believed to have been reshelled many years ago into a genuine GT Falcon body with factory wind back Golde sunroof. This rare and desirable GTHO Phase 2 features it's original HO running gear including the matching numbers D block solid 351 4V Cleveland, factory long shaft top loader gearbox, Ph.2 HO tail shaft and 31 spline 3.5:1 9" LSD.

Mechanically rebuilt in 2009 with Ph.2 spec cam, solid lifters, stainless valves, Yellow Terra roller rockers, H&M extractors and 780cfm carby. New clutch and gearbox bearings. New brakes, calipers, shoes, linings, hoses, ball joints and tie rod ends.

The GTHO was repainted in 1990 in acrylic paint and is still looking absolutely glamourous to this day. The interior features the original genuine black trim and console with mint dash and crash pad, instruments and steering wheel.

Riding on genuine 5 slot rims with excellent caps, dress rims and red walled tyres. Original 36 gallon fuel tank, spare wheel tie down and fuel line breather hose. Red wall Aquajet and 5 slot spare and all tools in excellent condition.

Looks and drives the part with that great sounding solid engine and wonderful Phase 2 exhaust note. Wind back the Golde sunroof, crank over the Clevo and hit the road and all your worries are behind you. A proven 143 MPH car. This HO must be driven not hidden.

The GTHO is supplied with the expertly compiled and highly collectable 1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase 11 Register, the ACCHS Verification letter, an original owners manual and log book for display purposes and a set of genuine keys. The HO is also supplied with genuine hard to get spares including a set of Lucas headlights, genuine XW horns, a reconditioned HO yellow pulley Autolite Alternator, HO 4 blade fan and a set of centre caps.

Come and take a closer look at this GTHO Falcon. Crank her over and you'll understand why "Going Ford is still the Going Thing"!

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
