For sale is a right hand drive converted 1970 Mustang Convertible in Cinnamon Poly with White trim.  Running the factory 302 CID Windsor 2BBL V8 and 3 speed auto. For sale from Taree, NSW. 

The Ford Mustang. Since 1964, Ford's longest running nameplate in continuous production. Now in its 61st year and still one of the best selling Ford models globally. Longer and more aggressive, the 1970 Ford Mustang was available in multiple iterations including Coupe, Fastback and Convertible body styles and various engine and transmission combinations. 

For sale is a great entry level survivor condition 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible presented in Cinnamon Poly with the original White interior and running the factory F code 302 ci Windsor V8 and 3 speed C-4 auto combo. Imported to Australia over 30 years ago, the Mustang was converted to right hand drive by Sydney based Mustang specialist Ray Alberry in 1997. It has been in the care of the current owner since 1993 and is fully registered in NSW and comes with a 2018 NSW engineering certificate. 

The engineering documentation covers the fitment of a period correct right hand drive Ford Fairlane steering box, idler arm, drag link and ram. The Mustang is also fitted with Ford Fairlane front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The Mustang is also fitted with power steering and the engineering certification also covers the fitment of the seat belts.    

In unrestored condition, the Mustang features mostly original Cinnamon Poly paint. This is a good solid car with  minimal surface rust and no damage. The convertible top is electric and works well and is in good condition. The interior is original and in average condition. Being white in colour it is showing some wear but would come up well with a good detail. The chrome and glass is in original condition with working gauges, aftermarket radio and repro steering wheel.  

Mechanically, the 302 Windsor was reconditioned in 1997. Since the rebuild the owner has maintained the car regularly. The Mustang is running a 4bbl QF2 Quickfuel Technologies carby that has recently been rebuilt, factory exhaust manifolds and new dual exhaust system. The Mustang runs and drives perfectly and is extremely reliable and powerful. 

The Mustang has been converted to run front disc brakes with rear drums. Suspension has fully reconditioned with heavy duty springs fitted. The Mustang is fitted with engine immobiliser, locking fuel cap and internal bonnet locking latch. 

Riding on new Magnum 500 wheels and new 225/60R15s B F Goodrich TA radials all round. 

The Mustang comes with a receipt folder, NSW engineering certificate and full NSW registration until 17th of September, 2026.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
