Its a Superb E body, Date Coded #F383 7 10 HP - Casting # 2468130 - 383 Magnum, A833 4-speed manual. Ground-up restoration using original and NOS parts.
1400 Miles since completion of the restoration around 7 years ago.

This Barracuda has had a super nice ground-up restoration using original and NOS parts.
There is the ORIGINAL factory build sheet.
There is the ORIGINAL door VIN sticker, removed and tucked away for safekeeping when the car was stripped.
With the VIN # properly stamped on the cowl, radiator support, door tag, dash tag, and original fender tag.

To restore this rare Barracuda, it was completely disassembled and put on a rotisserie. Every single nut & bolt was either refinished or replaced with original or NOS parts.
Every single piece of stainless steel was repaired, straightened and polished,every piece of chrome was redone, including the fog lamp bezels, bumpers, and driver's side mirror.
The grille, grille surround, headlight bezels, tail light bezel and tail lamps are better than new.
The interior was restored to OEM condition. The original bucket front seats and rear seats were reupholstered using the correct & original Tan Vinyl. New door panels, carpeting and headliner were installed as well.
The steering wheel, dash pad, gauges and instrument cluster were restored. All interior chrome and stainless steel was properly refinished. The original center console and the original 4-speed Pistol Grip shifter were restored to factory new.
The original factory glass was reused, and is in great condition. The trunk includes the correct, original jack refinished, and a correct spare. Also present are 1 concourse and one driver set of four 14-inch Rallye wheels with center caps and trim rings with one set wearing new period correct Goodyear Poly-glass F70 tires.
Plus a New Heater facia trim and a new 8000 rpm Tacho with the car.
The Engine a - 383/335 HP "N" code block with - #F383 7 10 HP & casting date code 2468130. Was completely disassembled and rebuilt to stock specs with the exception of a 750 Holley carb which runs a lot nicer than the stock Holley .... which is completely restored also and wrapped up in a box for safe keeping.
The engine compartment shows a correct and original radiator, correct date-coded components, and factory correct hoses, clamps and wiring. The fully rebuilt original A833 manual 4-speed transmission was bolted behind the engine. Out back is the original 8 3/4" axle with a 3.23 Sure Grip.
This is the perfect car for a collector who wants something truly rare and unique and can also drive and enjoy.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
