Big is beautiful. And in 1971 Ford had the Australian luxury car market well and truly covered with the ZD Fairlane 500. Combining full-sized comfort, effortless cruising ability and unmistakable road presence, the Fairlane was the car of choice for buyers wanting luxury with V8 performance. This example was ordered with the sought-after K-Code 351 Cleveland V8 and remains a superb example of Ford's flagship luxury sedan.

Originally sold through Z.J. Beer Motors in Moss Vale, NSW, this Fairlane has survived more than five decades in  original condition and remains a genuine time capsule of Australian motoring.

What makes this ZD so special is its authenticity. The Bronze Wine Metallic paint is largely original and carries an honest patina that can only come with age. Importantly, the car remains rust free and unmolested, having escaped restoration and modification throughout its life. Inside, the original Black Vinyl interior is exceptionally well preserved. The trim, door cards, crash pad, dash, gauges, console and steering wheel remain factory original, creating an authentic and inviting 1970s luxury car experience.

Under the bonnet sits the original 351 Cleveland V8 backed by the factory FMX automatic transmission. The engine bay proudly displays its originality, while the car starts easily, runs smoothly and delivers the effortless cruising ability these big Fairlanes are renowned for. With factory power steering, it remains a pleasure to drive today.

Survivor-grade Fairlanes with their original paint, trim and driveline are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This unrestored ZD presents a rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of Australian Ford history exactly as it left the factory more than 50 years ago.

Whether you're a serious Ford collector, a survivor car enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates originality, this beautifully preserved ZD Fairlane K-Code 351 deserves your attention.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
