1971 XY GT Falcon - Wild Violet

$SOLD

Dream come true! Super rare one of only 23 Wild Violet XY GT Falcons built, one of only 13 with the black trim combination and one of only 1 with the exact options fitted.

This excellent original example was a Hansen Ford, Mareeba, Qld delivered car when new, then to Vic, now returned to Qld. The car has been repainted in acrylic and is showing 33,394 miles.

This GT presents in unmolested condition, standard suspension heights, standard exhaust, and features excellent interior, seat trims, door cards, hood lining, crash pad, dash and gauges, Superfringe radio and steering wheel in excellent condition.

The car is 100% matching numbers with it's original 351 4V Cleveland V8, Top Loader 4 speed gearbox and 9" diff. The engine was rebuilt around 1996 to standard specifications. The top loader selects gears perfectly and the 9" is in excellent condition.

Basically this car runs and drives like a dream. Engine feels smooth and responsive and the dual exhaust note is pure GT. The car rides on 4 original 5 slot rims with red wall tyres and the spare is the original 5 slot fitted to an older Uniroyal tyre.

Signed by Bathurst legends Fred Gibson on the Glovebox and both Fred and the one and only Allan Moffat on the original shaker snorkel. The GT also comes with a Ford letter of verification and an ACCHS report.

This GT Falcon is now located in Kingsgrove Sydney showroom. (Ref. 5599)

Or if travel is difficult, AMCS will gladly arrange a video inspection of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
