Fully restored and running a 2022 Stone Brothers rebuilt 5.0-litre EFI Ford V8 good for 605hp (451kW) and mated to a 6 speed Holinger gearbox, this is the dream car to start racing or the perfect centre-piece of a Falcon GT car collection. Back in 2000, with a full grid of 56 cars racing Bathurst, Rod Salmon and Damien White placed 17th outright, winning the "Privateers Cup“ in the Great Race that was won by Garth Tander and Jason Bargwanna. In the race, Craig Lowndes took pole position and this car qualified 33rd out of 56 cars. Built to create a two car team for the Queensland 500 and Bathurst 1000 for Greenfields Mowers, the cage and body were built by Peter Behag.

The AU is running upper and lower A-arms, coil springs, adjustable dampers and rollbar (F); Beam axle, upper and lower control arms, Watts link, coil springs, adjustable dampers and rollbar (r). Brakes are AP Racing six-piston calipers, vented floating discs (f); four-piston calipers, floating vented discs (r). All mechanicals have been refreshed with all new wheel bearings and diff centre bearings, fresh Tail Shaft, gear box, new seals and brake calipers and front end uprights crack tested and rebuilt.

In 2020, the car was fully restored which included a freshen up to the Stone Brothers racing built engine including fitting reconditioned heads from Craig Lowndes' “Green Eyed Monster”.

The Falcon has recently competed in the V8 Touring Cars National Championship and is presented for sale in 100% Race Ready condition.

The AU Falcon's Super Car race history includes:

2000 Bathurst 1000 – Finished 17th (Rod Salmon / Damian White).
Privateers Trophy. 1st privateers car across the line. (privateers and factory backed cars ran together back then).

2001 – Bathurst 1000 (DNF)

2002 – Konica Series (Rod Salmon)

2004-2008 – Shane and Jonathon Beikoff (father & son) ran the car in Development Series with success in 2005 when they won a race at Wakefield Park.
Alex Young (Ex Minardi F1 driver) drove it for 2 rounds in 2004.

2008-2018 – The car did a few ride days and kept in storage.

2020 – The car was fully restored back to 2000 livery and the engine was upgraded and freshened also receiving reconditioned heads from Craig Lowndes' “Green Eyed Monster”.

2022 – Ran at the Phillip Island historic event in March.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
