Round the Shed - Feb 2011

$SOLD

Welcome to 2011, we hope it will be a good one for all! We are getting back into the groove with plenty on for the new year. One of the most exciting cars we have come across is this Rothmans/Bold Blue Phase 3 GTHO. The car is the rarest of the Phase 3's, being the only XY produced in this colour. Specially ordered by the Rothmans cigarette company in 1971!!

The Bold Blue Phase 3 is a survivor, having been last registered in 1981. We have been entrusted to perform some freshening up of the car and can't wait to get into it! For many years the car's whereabouts have been unknown. We are pleased to report that it has survived in excellent condition, featuring all original running gear, fittings and log books. The vehicle was built with a factory sunroof, cloth insert trim and 8 track player..A real Gem!..Work on Rod's White Phase 3 continues. The car is almost complete and has come up an absolute treat! Billy's race XY looks tough with black stripes and is almost ready for running gear.... Sold recently and being treated to some basic maintenance work, are a couple of lovely originals.. an E38 Charger and XA GT...Thanks to all our customers, friends and families. We are continuing to grow and are looking forward to another great year...All the best from AMCS..see you around!

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
