1968 HK Premier 186 Powerglide - Survivor

SOLD  $39,500

Dubbed Creme de la Prem by Survivor Car Australia magazine and featured in their Collector's Issue No. 29, this stunning Survivor Paragon Blue/Grecian White HK Premier 186 and 2 speed Powerglide auto has covered a mere 45,851 miles in its 51 years on the road.

Purchased originally by a Mrs. R.P. Bald from Motors in Launceston, Tasmania, the car was optioned with mudflaps, driver's window weather shield, tow bar and Air Chief push button AM radio with auxiliary parcel shelf speaker. The HK Premier remained in the care of the original owner and then her son until 2014 and was last registered in 1993. The car was then sold to the current Tassie owner in 2014 who had been looking for a Premier as his Dad had also had one back in the day.

The car features all original acrylic paint with no rust or damage and a spectacular light blue interior that is as in good showroom condition. Everything still works like clock work and the HK Prem comes with the original sales brochure and also a horse shoe that was put under the floor matt for good luck by Mrs. Bald and has helped guide this special car through its time on the Tasmanian roads.

HK Premiers are thin on the ground at the best of times but finding a Survivor like this one is like finding a needle in a haystack. A perfect addition to any serious Holden collection and a fine example of Aussie motoring history. Launceston, Tasmania car. (Ref. 5256)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
