1969 HT GTS Monaro 186S

SOLD  $90,000

One owner TOTALLY ORIGINAL UNRESTORED specially ordered HT GTS Monaro in Platinum Metallic with Antique gold trim. Ordered new through Campbell's Motors in Preston, Victoria in 1969 by the current owner's father. The car came with a genuine gear lever lock, not common as an accessory in those days. Campbell's actually kept the vehicle in the showroom for some time as a show piece before being delivered to the family home by 2 salesmen with a huge bunch of flowers for the current owner's Mum, and he was then 9 years old. His Dad drove the car as a daily drive for many years so the vehicle does have some road patina and marks here and there. To date the HT GTS has traveled a genuine 107,667 miles with owners manuals and rego papers. Shocks, rear springs, universal joints and engine pipe (from the headers back) have been replaced to keep the car on the road. The 186S motor and drive line have never been rebuilt - all completely original. Original 2 speed Powerglide auto still feels like new. The body hasn't been restored, its just as delivered. The original B.F Goodrich Cross ply tyres x 5 and rims delivered on the car from the Dealer were removed and stored (and replaced by Aquajet radials). The original tyres are pictured and are in the boot of the car. No cracks in the dash or rear seat header. The carpet is original with no holes. This is a genuine one family owner car - father to son - from showroom to today. Melbourne, VIC car. (Ref. 4955)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
