1971 Holden HQ Monaro GTS - Lone O'Ranger - Original Maintained
Now in the care of the third enthusiast owner, this HQ GTS Monaro is one of the cleanest we have ever seen. The Monaro is presented in totally unmodified and original condition with only a repaint in acrylic during the 15 year ownership of the second owner. The interior is in excellent unmodified condition and features the original Houndstooth seat trim, door cards, crash pad and carpets and the GTS is showing a genuine 91,383 miles on the clock. The second owner fitted period correct power steering and driving lights to the GTS.
Mechanically, the GTS features the matching numbers 253 V8 and M20 4 speed manual gearbox. The motor, gearbox and diff have never been removed from the car and all compliance plates, engine and body numbers are as they left the factory. The HQ has recently been treated to a full brake system overhaul with all new brake lines, reconditioned big nut master cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders, new shocks and springs, a reconditioned radiator, reconditioned Rochester carby and distributor plus a new battery.
The HQ is riding on genuine GTS Rally rims with caps. There is an original spare and factory tools plus the original rubber boot matt. The Monaro has just been serviced and the car professionally detailed.
The HQ GTS is supplied with a set of log books and owners manuals for display purposes and 2 sets of keys.

Terms of sale
Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
Insurance & Transport
Upon receipt of full cleared payment, the Buyer assumes responsibility for the Motor Vehicle and must arrange appropriate insurance cover from that time.
Any loss, theft, damage or incident occurring after full payment, including during transportation or delivery, is the Buyer's responsibility. All vehicle transportation is arranged through independent third-party transport carriers, and AMCS accepts no liability for any loss, damage or incident occurring during transport. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring appropriate transit insurance is in place.
