1971 XY Falcon GTHO Phase 3 - (WITHDRAWN)
Genuine 1971 XY Falcon GTHO Phase 3 in Vermilion Fire with all original Black trim. This is no ordinary GTHO Phase 3! Selected and prepared by Ford Race Team head honcho Howard Marsden and delivered to Rod Donovan and Ron Lindau who owned two WA Ford dealerships and were the top WA Ford racers at the time.
The VIN number of this GTHO (80561) falls within the sequence of the GTHOs of Moffat 65E (80565), Gibson 66E (80564) and French 64E (80563) ... all matching Vermilion Fire in colour. Bathurst race plans for the car by the WA pair didn't eventuate and after a brief stint as Ron Lindau's personal road car was subsequently sold by Lindau Ford to the Lush Brothers of Perth who successfully drag raced it for 11 years. The GTHO was then recommissioned as a street car and original trim and running gear reinstalled.
After ownership by a number of enthusiastic owners (a few who have called us since its arrival to rave about their experience with this wonderful HO) the car was Concours restored in 2004 in Melbourne and today still presents in spectacular show condition. Included is a full pictorial history dossier from day one through to present ownership and includes the original Log book, Owner's manuals, Ford verification and many interesting supporting docs.
This represents excellent realistic value and a terrific ownership and investment opportunity. Call for more information. This King is on display in our Kingsgrove, Sydney Showroom. Any inspection welcome. (Ref. 5077)

Terms of sale
Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
