1972 HQ Holden Statesman Custom 253 V8

Mothballed true survivor untouched 1972 Holden HQ Statesman Custom.
You read that right! This is not a DeVille ... but a super rare and very desirable Chateau Mauve Metallic with Antique Saddle/Brown trim Statesman Custom!

This special one off HQ Statesman was owned by a little old lady from Castlemaine, VIC until 2017 and has travelled a genuine 111,000 miles. It comes complete with all its original log books, owners manual and the original Holden sales brochure. Powered by the matching number 253 V8 and a very rare three on the column manual transmission. Also still fitted with the original carpet, battery terminals and radio.

Interior trim is as new in stunning original condition and will seat a large family of 6 in classic 1972 style luxury without A/C, P/S or P/W. However, she has the optional factory GTS dash fitted to add that sporty style to the luxury package.

In fact this HQ is so original it is still fitted with its original Lucas headlights and radiator. Yes it does have a few scratches and bumps but it has no rust holes and is a very honest true survivor car!

Recently had new suspension bushes and a water pump. Tyres are good. In incredible original condition for a car that's almost 48 years old. Truly a classic turn-key cruiser. Northern suburbs, Melbourne car. (Ref. 5167)
