Stunning survivor Holden HQ Premier 253 V8 for sale in unrestored condition with a genuine 95,691 Klms on the clock. For sale from Bendigo, VIC.

Purchased by the current owner in 2003 from a deceased estate, this stunning two owner survivor unmolested Champagne metallic HQ Premier has certainly led a charmed life. Ordered new from Coliseum Motors, Ballarat, VIC and delivered to a Mr. A Lyttle on the 14th December, 1973, this HQ Premier is factory optioned with the 253 V8 engine, Trimatic auto, power steering and cloth trim. The original owner then added dealer options including a Sunvisor ($22), Front and Rear Mud Flaps ($20) and a Weathershield ($17). The total driveaway price including registration and third party insurance ($172.30) was $4,386.30.

The HQ features all original paint with some touch ups due to a minor rust repair to the rear quarters but otherwise the car features all original acrylic paint. Chrome and glass are in excellent original condition with original headlights and tail lights still in place. This is a super low kilometre Holden Premier. In fact, the current owner purchased the car in 2003 with 73,000 Klms on the clock. And the HQ has now covered a genuine 95,691 Klms from new. And the interior underscores this low mileage. In fact the interior trim is in exceptional as new condition from the seat trims, door cards, steering wheel, dash, hood lining, gauges and crash pad. The only blemish is to the passenger floor carpet which has some water staining from a heater box water leak (the leak has been repaired). The HQ has never had a radio fitted and the only addition from factory is a temperature gauge fitted under the dash.

Mechanically, the HQ runs like a dream with the stock matching numbers 253 V8 purring away. The engine has never been rebuilt and has been well looked after with maintenance carried out on a regular basis. The current owner replaced the Welsh plugs approximately 5 years ago, serviced the radiator and fitted new hoses at the same time. The Premier is running the original single barrel carby, through the original exhaust manifold and then through to a twin system exhaust replacing the factory single system.

The current owner has also fitted King Springs all round (original springs are included) and the HQ rides on factory 14" steel rims with original mint Premier caps and dress rims with good white wall tyres with approximately 20,000 Klms under their treads.

This is a super original classic Holden, unmolested and in excellent condition with full documentation including the original Coliseum Motors sales invoice, log books, owners manual, the day one interim Victorian rego label and even the original Coliseum Motors dealer sticker on the rear window. There is even a rear venetian fitted. The car comes with a water colour painting of the actual car nick named "The Q" and also a model of the car in the correct Champagne colour combo. The Premier also comes complete with the original Victorian number plates LSR-450 as confirmed in the log books.

In the boot is the original boot mat, a spare with an older tyre and tools.

Located in Bendigo, VIC. Currently on club registration. (Ref: 6069)

If you wish, we will gladly arrange an actual/video inspection tour of the car and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
