Now for sale this genuine 1974 HQ GTS Monaro in Chrome Yellow, running a 350 Chev V8 and Turbo 400 gearbox, located in Mornington Peninsular, Vic.

Originally a genuine 253 4 speed GTS in Sunburst, fully restored about 9 years ago, now in Chrome Yellow 2 pak.

Running a mild torquey 350 Chev with 3 speed Turbo 400 auto transmission and backed by a tall easy cruising 9 inch diff. The motor includes an Edelbrock Performer dual plane manifold, new Holley 750cfm carby, New Pacemaker headers and dual exhaust. Note the original 253 Holden V8 and 4 speed M20 gearbox have survived and come with the car. 

Recent works and upgrades to the car include; rebuilt front end, replaced radiator and new thermo fans, replaced brakes, new seat belts and new stereo in the glove box. The interior is mostly new and all gauges are working on the refurbished dash.

The Chev installation and all other upgrades and repairs have been done by the current enthusiast owner who has owned the car for 7 years. The wheels are restored original GTS wheels now running 15 x7" outer rims with new 215/65R15 tyres.

All tags and numbers are original and verified by both the attached Holden letter and Holden Historic Services report.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
