Super Rare Survivor 1975 Monaro HJ GTS Coupe. 5 Litre V8 power. Turbo 400 gearbox. Plus original log books, keys and a documented GMH Sales and Marketing vehicle from new. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Time warp unrestored survivor HJ GTS Monaro Coupe. One of only 606 HJ GTS coupes ever built. Built May 1975, the HJ GTS was retained by GMH for marketing purposes until it was sold to the first owner in August 1976.

Ordered with Chamois paint and Covert Vinyl with Cloth Seat Insert trim, this survivor HJ GTS is running a January 1976 date code GMH replacement L31 5 Litre V8 paired to the factory T-400 automatic gearbox.

Equipped with factory Air-conditioning, power steering and front wheel disc brakes this super RARE Holden is in maintained driving condition and comes with the all important original log books, owners manuals, Air Chief Radio manual, original SA number plates and two sets of keys. Even the original assembly line carpet tag specifying the Covert colour is still with the HJ. As are the original SA metal number plates - SLC-668.

According to the Holden Historical Services Report, the HJ GTS was originally allocated to GMH's Sales, PR, Advertising and Merchandising Department in Elizabeth, SA. Accordingly, the log books show that the GTS was serviced 5 times between August 1975 and July 1976 at the GMH Service Garage in Elizabeth before it was sold to the first owner in August 1976 with a little over 25,000 Kilometres on the clock.

Mechanically the L31 5 Litre V8 has been fully maintained and runs the factory rebuilt Quadrajet 4BBL carburettor, original air cleaner, standard manifold and dual exhaust system. The factory integrated Air-conditioning is installed and seems to work but may need a regas.

The interior is as per day one and is showing its age but everything from the door cards, door handles, roof lining, steering wheel and dashboard are original. All gauges work. Only the clock has stopped.

The boot area is super clean with the original boot mat.

The genuine GTS rims are in good condition with the centre caps and dress rims in their place. Tyres are Kenda radials 205/70R14s all round.

The Monaro is supplied with a Holden Historical Services letter of verification.

A collectors dream, this presents a great opportunity for a Holden enthusiast to get into a very genuine near impossible to find HJ GTS Monaro with an impeccable historical resume.

AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
