Factory Mandarin Red all original paint in remarkably good condition for its age with wonderful patina, nil rust and nil accident damage. As can be seen in the photos, there are some stone chips, paint marks and decal aging but otherwise a very solid and historically significant Holden panel van.
Running the all matching numbers 4.2 litre 253 cubic inch Holden V8 and 4 speed M20 manual gearbox. Recent new exhaust. Excellent original Chamois trim that has been covered with sheep skin covers from new resulting in near perfect original vinyl, original carpets, crash pad and steering wheel all in excellent condition.
A genuine 194,530 klms from new with the original owners manual, log books, original keys, original NSW number plate and factory AM radio all included. Current owner purchased the Panel van from the original owner from Inverell, NSW in 2004.
This is a rare Sandman Panel van made rarer by the fact that it is still wearing its original paint and trim has documentation and undoubtedly a few cool stories to tell of the way we Aussies lived in the 1970s and 80s.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
