1980 VC HDT Brock Commodore #367 ... (SOLD)

The Brock that started it all! The brain child of a young Peter Brock - the legendary Holden Dealer Team VC Brock Commodore. One of only 69 Tuxedo black VC HDT Commodores built out of the 500 and one of less than 30 in manual configuration.

Build no. 367 features the all matching numbers Brock enhanced 5.0 litre L31 V8 and M21 4 speed gearbox. One family owned from 1980 until approximately 5 years ago, this Brock has been driven less than 5,000 klms since purchased by the second owner.

Used as regular family transport most of its life, this Brock was purchased from Brian Kelly Holden in Cardiff, NSW. Covering a genuine 141,889 klms since new, the VC comes with it's original log books, registration papers, receipts and manuals.

The Tuxedo Black paint is showing signs of age but is presentable and the car is rust and damage free. The Carmine red interior trim is all original with some fading but and slight wear and tear to the drivers seat. The original Momo numbered steering wheel is there as is the original gear knob. Comes with original Eurovox radio, factory A/C, power windows and power aerial.

The car retains its original 5 Irmscher wheels, air cleaner with cold air induction system which drew air from behind the passenger side headlight, chrome air cleaner lid and rocker covers, as well as gas flowed cylinder heads and port matched inlet manifold.

Other custom features are the HDT footrest, Momo Steering wheel (which wore the vehicles build number) and some suspension work including the Bilstein shock absorbers designed to make the cars handle as well as they went. All compliance plates including the chassis number on the radiator support are still in place.

NSW number plates 367 come with the car. Located in our Kingsgrove, Sydney showroom for your inspection. (Ref. 5207)
