Super rare factory fully loaded ex GMH Executive VH Commodore SL/E Shadow Tone now for sale, located in Melbourne North.

Original and unrestored Tahitian Blue over Mercury Silver Shadow Tone running the all matching numbers 308 V8 with automatic gearbox, working A/C, P/W, P/S, Cruise control, Trip Computer, central locking, power aerial and original log books and service history.

Does it get any better than that? Well how about the fact that this rare example has had only 3 owners, has covered a genuine 156,917 km and still retains its original day one number plates!!

It is unknown how many 'Shadow Tone’ two-toned painted SL/E Commodores were manufactured but they have definitely become very scarce. ESPECIALLY with the 308 V8 option ticked. And especially given that this car still features mostly its original Acrylic paint.

This example was originally a GMH Executive vehicle. It was then retailed through Dustings Hillyer, Holden in Melbourne, sold to an older couple in Melbourne who used the SL/E as their daily driver. In 2010, the SL/E was stored until purchased by the current owner in 2019. The car was showing 156,600 km when purchased.

The current owner has rebuilt the brakes, rebuilt the suspension with new bushes and ball joints. The A/C was reconditioned, a new water pump and hoses fitted and new engine mounts installed. The rear muffler was replaced with a super hard to find NOS dual exhaust. And new tyres were fitted.

The interior is all day one retaining the original radio/cassette player and speakers, working power windows, working trip computer, working A/C and with near perfect velour trim and even the original and still working electric aerial. In the boot is the original boot carpet, spare with cover plus the spare wheel and original tools.

The car is in excellent solid condition with some superficial surface rust around the car and a minor repair to the LHS sill. There is no structural rust and the car has never been in an accident and still features the original quarters and radiator support.

The underside features the green tail shaft and GMH original front shockies.

The SL/E comes complete with the original GMH build sheet found behind the back seat, original log books/owners manual and radio instructions booklet. The original Dustings Hillyer, Holden dealer sticker is still attached to the rear window.

Here is an amazing opportunity to purchase an incredibly rare fully documented and original SL/E Commodore in much coveted Shadowtone. Don't hesitate. They don't make opportunities like this every day.

Located in Northern Suburbs, Melbourne for your inspection. (Ref: 6027)

If you wish we will gladly arrange a video tour/inspection of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door enclosed transport anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
